Q:
top 5 aspects of being nonbinary?
I’m interpreting this as top 5 positive aspects (in my experience):
1. no real rules for clothes, make up your own (A+)
2. shaving optional (not specific to nonbinary people but easier when the societal rules applied to women are abandoned)
3. cannot be compelled to care about things one gender is “supposed” to do, like, or be concerned with
4. engaging critically with language and being able to craft and tailor the words I use, and the words people in my life use to talk to and about me
5. cis ppl are boring (sry i didn’t make the rules on this one)

“I’m really smart, sir. I’d read all of Jane Austen by the time I was twelve. Including her lesser-known work, Lady Susan. Which is a severely underrated piece of feminist literature.”
